Tea

Pricing: All teas are sold for $2.00 an ounce, except for ones marked with ♣ ($4.00) or ♣♣ ($6.00)

BLACK TEAS

China Black Special (China) - golden and tippy, with a full, curled, black leaf from the Fujian province. Brews up very hardy and rich. Has a slightly sweet note and almost caramel-like flavor.
Kenya Black (Africa) - medium to full-bodied tea, very flavorful. Has almost a juniper note to the taste. This full leaf tea is produced by a cooperative of Kenya tea growers.
Vietnam Orange Pekoe (Vietnam) - whole, black tea leaves produce a medium-bodied cup with a golden liquor.
Canadian Breakfast - a great morning tea, with malty notes from Assam, flower-like hints from Kenya and tiny wisps of oakiness from Yunnan.
Brahmaputra Malty Breakfast Blend (India) - a robust blend that will start your day with a smile; goes well with a touch of milk and sugar.
Wild Strawberry (Sri Lanka) - an intense burst of strawberry flavor, like summer’s last bounty of sun-heated berries.
Monk’s Blend (Sri Lanka) - a dramatic combination of vanilla and grenadine that ensures a flavorful cup.
Raspberry Earl Grey (Sri Lanka) - the traditional Earl Grey jazzed up with fruity hints of raspberries, wonderful hot or cold.
Yorkshire Harrogate - lightly astringent cup which brews up quickly, and takes milk and sugar nicely.
Buckingham Palace - a delicate Earl Grey with Jasmine notes and brews to a coppery color.
French Blend (India) - an  “ooh-la-la” flavor from this combination of vanilla, Earl Grey, Jasmine and lavender deviously blended with Ceylons, Nigiris, Assams and Kenya’s black teas.
Amazon Mango (India) - a black tea with the taste of the tropics. A cup of this tea will transport you to the equator with one sip.
White Tip Smoky Earl Grey (India) - the traditional flavor of citrus combined with a wisp of smokiness creating a distinctive cup.
Magic Moon - black and green teas blended with an exotic taste of strawberry.
Young Puerh (China) - a character described as elemental; these are closely related to the original tea tree.

OOLONG/ POUCHONG TEAS

Northern Pouching (Taiwan) ♣♣ - a fabulous tea from the northern most mountains of Taiwan. It’s flavor is sweet, floral and complex; it’s almost like drinking lilacs. These tea leaves can be steeped multiple times.
Nepal Guranse Oolong (Nepal) ♣ - a very tippy, hand-processed tea. It brews up with sweet honey notes and a lovely silky texture. One of the only oolongs made in Nepal.

GREEN TEAS

Jasmine Pearls (China) ♣ - the youngest leaf tips are scented with fresh Jasmine blossoms 8 - 10 times and then hand-rolled into little pellets, yielding an intense, slightly sweet and floral taste. A true tea experience!
Earl Green with Lavender (Sri Lanka) - large bergamot-scented, green tea leaves unfurl to present a hint of lavender. A wonderful tea to relax with.
Green Menthos (China) - high quality Chinese gunpowder green tea is blended with American mint and natural peppermint flavor. A refreshingly tasty tea experience.
Allegria Jasmine Burst (China) - a display tea that should be brewed in a clear glass vessel so you can watch the flower bloom. One pod will brew a four-cup pot, so you can share this lovely experience with friends. ♣♣♣ 3 pods for $5.00

WHITE TEAS

China White Spring (China) ♣ - hand-processed tea from a very small garden in China; produces a fresh, sweet cup of tea.

HERBAL TISANES

Carly’s Blend - a relaxing herbal blend that sweetens itself with licorice.
Honey bush (South Africa) - a medium, full-bodied cup with a light flavor of Madagascar pepper and honey.
Yerba Matte (Brazil) - matte is very rich in caffeine. Produced from the dried, crushed leaves of the matte palm tree
Rooibus (South Africa) - a traditional South African drink also known as “red bush tea”.  The taste is slightly citrus with a touch of honey sweetness; some compare the taste to that of Ceylon tea.
Masala Chai Rooibus (South Africa) - Malabar spices combined with sweet rooibus.
Belgian Chocolate Rooibus (South Africa) - a chocolate lover’s paradise is heightened with the addition of cocoa bean pieces.

FRUIT TISANES

Orient Express - Spicy cinnamon and sweet, nutty almond give this fruit and herb tisane a flavor burst.
Springberry - a delicious blend of fruits and berries that will create a reminder of summer.

TEAPOTS

These are all “Brown Betty” ceramic-style, and one solid color.  When “cups” are referred to, it is to the 6 oz. cup, rather than the actual 8 oz. per measuring cup.
